Lesson 4 reflection
Due to missing several lessons due to things like the half day celebration, this lesson was rather hectic. Due to this, my partner and I had some doubts on CSS. However, we eventually managed to figure out how CSS worked through the help of several online resources as well as the notes that were given. Learning from the previous assignment, I decided to stay back with my partner to finish this assignment to prevent any miscommunication. This assignment went considerably better than the last assignment where there were cases of miscommunication which resulted in the assignment being handed in rather late.
Lesson 3 reflection
This lesson was on the basics of html. Since I know that some people charge a few hundred dollars for creating a whole website, I was astonished to find that it was not that difficult. AFter grasping the basics, the assignment was quite easy. There is nothing really difficult about html except that it might be a bit tedious typing everything out.
Lesson 2 reflection
I learnt a lot more on the difference between blogs and websites, namely that blogs can be done by anyone whereas websites need some level of programming knowledge. I suppose that this further emphasises that nowadays, practically anyone can utilise technology which makes us over reliant on it. This assignment requires students to discuss their opinions on a forum, which I feel is a good example of Web 2.0 as well, which was taught during the last lesson.

Lesson 1 reflection
Many of us born in this new generation of techonology take much of the things around us for graanted, little do we realise exactly how much differs in the past and now. While most of the things in the video we already knew, what the video provided us with was the staggering statistics. While all of us have experienced websites that are classified as Web 1.0 or Web 2.0, the other video on Web 1.0 and 2.0 had some new information such as what the websites were called. Web 2.0 is probably used more nowadays in the form of forums so that people can all contribute. This is also how some teachers teach, using things like wikispaces.com or ning.com to create a website that students and teachers can edit. Therefore, this information is relevant to us as students and allows us to truly appreciate how technology has made our lives much more convenient.
